This was my very first time to this restaurant and I have to say that they know how to cook some excellent brisket and turkey!!! The employees were all very friendly and professional, plus they have great senses of humor :) The side dishes of mac & cheese, potato salad, jalapeno cornbread, and jalapeno cream corn were all brilliant, fresh, and completely hot temperature-wise. Lunch here was so fantastic and I will make sure that I return in short order to try more or their food items.

Still one of the best places to eat Texas bbq in Amarillo! People are awesome, food is solid. Half price rib racks in Fridays are insanely good deal! Been coming here for 30 years and still love it!

Pretty dang good and great portions! Went at lunch and it filled up pretty quickly!! Very friendly staff as well!

I come to Amarillo every September for a small western music fest. I always try to only eat local. While in an antique store on 6th St. the owner asked if I like bbq. It's just my favorite food!(after Maine lobster, of course ) She said Wesley's had the best bbq in town. Of course, we had to try it. It was quite a way from our hotel. 9 miles, but well worth it! I had the small rib plate. 3 meaty smokey ribs so tender the meat came right off the bone. With the sweet hickory bbq sauce adding just the right flavor, I was sold. The pinto beans were cooked just right. The cole slaw is the type I like, not over mayonnaised and not too sweet. Crunchy cabbage. There were 7 of us, and everyone cleaned their plate! The bonus was a young singer, Nelson mckinney entertained us with his wonderful voice and guitar playing. This is a don't miss place to eat if you are in Amarillo.

We have been eating here for many years. My wife likes the jalapeño sausage sandwich. I used to get the loaded frito pie (very good), but someone turned me on to a hidden option called the 'Ron dog' basically the frito pie without the Fritos and adding in cut up hot dog. Very good option for those on protein diets. I can never eat the whole thing!

Lunch here on Friday...very busy! Many construction workers, law enforcement, etc. great ribs and bbq sandwiches. Will be back!

Outstanding BBQ and the service was excellent I would highly recommend this establishment!!

Something different than fast food for the road trip. Worth stopping at 100% and we'll be back next time through Amarillo. Reason for four stars is potato salad and coleslaw were nothing to write home about but the meats and especially the loaded baked potato were worth the stop.
